I’m Krissy, the creative mind behind Primrose Cakes, proud mum of two, and a passionate cake designer with a background in teaching design and catering. My journey began in 2016, when I turned my love for baking and decorating into an official business while my daughter was just six months old.

Inspired by my grandmother, who made and decorated cakes during my childhood, I’ve always been drawn to the joy of creating something beautiful and meaningful. After several years of crafting all types of celebration cakes, I decided in 2021 to focus exclusively on wedding cakes. There’s nothing quite like designing a stunning centrepiece that brings a couple’s love story to life and delights their guests.

At Primrose Cakes, I specialise in creating elegant, bespoke wedding cakes with a “less is more” approach, combining timeless designs with personal touches. Whether it’s the sharp edges of a modern cake adorned with delicate sugar flowers or a rustic semi-naked cake enhanced by fresh or dried florals, every detail is thoughtfully chosen to complement your wedding theme.

I collaborate closely with trusted suppliers to source the finest ingredients and bespoke elements, ensuring your cake tastes as incredible as it looks. From our initial consultation to the moment your cake is revealed, I aim to make the process simple, relaxed, and stress-free. I love getting to know my couples, hearing their unique stories, and turning their ideas into a beautiful centrepiece that reflects their personality and celebration. The most magical moment is seeing their reactions when they see the finished design, it’s why I love what I do!
